IGM CO., LTD (A MEMBER OF INTER GROUP) SUCCESSFULLY RE-REGISTERED AND APPROVED WITH MYCO.

YANGON, 23 AUGUST 2018 - The Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) have started the online registration of companies on its electronic registry system called Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO) since 1 August 2018. All existing companies need to re-register online by 31 January 2019. New companies will be registered directly on MyCO.

We have re-registered our Myanmar company "IGM Co., Ltd" on 21 August 2018 and received the approval together with the Incorporation Certificate on the same day. Our company registration number is now 101224430. Our former number was 1994/2014-2015.

The approval and issuance of Incorporation Certificate for existing companies re-registering on MyCO differs on a case-by-case basis. One possible reason could be that the information submitted to DICA is different from the company information that DICA already have in its hard-copy file. Another reason could be due to the volume of applications, the electronic registry network has just be launched and therefore will require some time to acclimatize to the amount of applications.
