With the easing of 'Circuit-Breaker' measures from 2 June 2020, the Singapore government will be embarking on a three phased approached to a 'new-normal', post circuit-breaker. Besides essential businesses that are already operating; Phase 1 - Safe Re-opening commencing from 2 June 2020, economic activities that do not pose a high risk of transmission will resume, but social, economic and entertainment activities that carry higher risk will remain closed.
While we are permitted to resume normal business operations in our physical office, the Singapore office is open strictly by appointments (on an urgent-basis) only. In the meantime, we will be putting in place the following additional precautionary measures as recommended by the government authorities; Singapore has made good progress to support the further resumption of more activities, therefore the government has announced transiting to Phase 3 – Safe Nation from 28 December 2020. Phase 3 means a further re-opening in the community, such that group sizes for gatherings will be increased from 5 to 8 persons; capacity limits in malls, attractions and places of worship will be increased and changes to regulations on indoor live performances as well as outdoor live instrumental performances. It is business as usual in our Singapore Office, but the following safe management measures are still in placed: (1) Contact Tracing Support Our office is located within Peninsula Plaza and all visitors are subjected to SafeEntry Check-ins via the TraceTogether app or token at designated building entrances. SafeEntry check-ins are also mandatory to all visitors entering our office at level 15. (2) Personal Protective Equipment and Personal Hygiene All staff and visitors must always wear a mask while they’re in the office premise. We have made available masks and hand sanitizers for staff and visitors should they need them. These measures are in addition to existing precautionary measures such as temperature checks, travel/health declarations and protocols for the management of unwell persons. We will continue to monitor the situation and adhere to any regulations deemed necessary. We have also made available hand sanitisers and masks for both our staff and visitors should they require them. Our Myanmar office will be taking mandatory temperature screenings upon entry into our office premises. This will apply to all our staff and visitors. Our own staff will be required to undergo temperature checks twice daily. We have also made transportation arrangements for our staff so that they can commute in a safe manner, thus minimizing contact with others on public transportation. (2) Personal Protective Equipment and Personal Hygiene All visitors to our office will now be required to wash their hands at the hand-wash basin provided before entering the office. All staff and visitors must wear a mask during meetings. Staff will be given face-shields prior to meetings with visitors. We have made available masks and hand sanitizers for staff and visitors should they need them. Seats at our reception have also been spaced out to ensure safe distancing between individuals.
